Italy - August 11 - Amalfi

We took an early morning ferry from Napoli to Sorrento; walked up a couple hundred steps from the port to our hotel; dropped our bags and then were picked up and whisked off to Amalfi for a meeting with Ceramiche Casola - a ceramic furniture/housewares company that we've seen on previous visits and have been wanting to get for our home for a long time. We purchased a really cool set of outdoor benches and side table for our patio in Chatham. We should have them by next summer! :) Afterward, we explored Amalfi, which had a couple of cool old churches as well as the typical shops and restaurants that you find all over the Amalfi coast area. It was a beautiful, relaxed day.
